DJ Spooks - Audio Espionage
Spooks aka Reuben Harris is a 26 year old Dj/Producer from Northamptonshire.
In 2010, through Cygnus Distribution, he launched Audio Espionage with label partner Mc Juiceman.
Having been a Dj playing out since the age of 16, Spooks has plenty of experience in how to control a dance, and you can regularly find him in various events up and down the country, playing various forms of eclectic electronic music.
Spooks also goes under the alias Spexion.
In 2011, the focus was on getting even more quality music to the nation through new talent and producers.
This saw Spooks link up with Filthy habits, Dominator, Flat T and Alpha on a production level and with plenty of collaborations already penned for release, the future looks very bright for Spooks and Audio Espionage.
This also led to the launch of Dub Espionage, a label focused on music running from 110bpm to 140bpm.
Having had releases from the label getting Radio 1 airplay on Annie Mac show, and Radio 1xtra airplay with Dj Q, the Dub Espionage imprint has a wealth of talent on the label including, Vigilante, Flat T, Scope Graphical, Eborall, and Morton.
Spooks also manages a youth studio, in which he caters for and runs a youth programme aimed at enabling youth to record and express themselves musically and creatively.
Whilst running the label, an ever increasing Dj schedule, and a string of releases due out on Audio Espionage and various other labels, expect to see a lot of Spooks for the foreseeable future.
